Germany, Luftwaffe. A Rare Pilot’s Badge, Aluminum Version, With Photo Hold Administrative on October 1(Flugzeugfhrerabzeichen). Constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, tied together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a patianted, swooping Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, with two visible rivets holding the obverse eagle in place, unmarked, measuring 65. 73 mm (w) x 52. 50 mm (h), weighing 13. 2 grams, part of
