In silver, oval medallion with floral designs at its four ends, obverse centre shows the ancient Japanese crown and bird of paradise, unattached to yellow bow ribbon, 46. 2 mm (h) x 37. 6 mm (w), very fine condition. Footnote: The Order of the Precious Crown was instituted on the 4th of January 1888 by Emperor Meiji. It is the highest Japanese honour for women.
