In silver and silver gilt, a multiple rayed eight pointed star with clusters of smooth rays, the obverse presenting a right facing portrait of Simon Bolivar, surrounded by an enamelled blue border inscribed SIMON BOLIVAR, as well as by a ring of silvered bronze beads, the reverse presents a thin singular pin typical of French manufacture, marked with a boars
