Constructed of blackened bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval chain link wreath, around a raised anchor defaced by crossed swords, in turn situated over a pebbled background, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 40. 24 mm (w) x 46. 46 mm (h), weighing 9. 3 grams, demonstrating near total loss of black finish, in very fine condition.
