Polished Sutured Ammonite - 3.83" Phylloceras neolithic and Sang-Heon ShimAmmonites are an extinct group of cephalopods that entered the fossil record 400 million years ago. This specimen is a 3. 83" polished Phylloceras fossil from Madagascar. This particular genus of ammonite had beautiful suture patterns that cross their shells like feathered jigsaw pieces and make fantastic display pieces.
