A Mint Cased Knight’s Cross of the Iron Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords, by S&L, c.1965 visually-hidden in tombac with machine embroidered(Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes mit Eichenlaub). Instituted September 1st, 1939 (Cross), Instituted June 3rd, 1940 (Oak Leaves), Instituted July 15th, 1941 (Oak Leaves with Swords). (c. 1970 issue). Constructed of silver, consisting of a Cross Patte with a blackened nonmagnetic core situated within a ribbed and silvered frame, the obverse with three central oak leaves, the six oclock arm with a reinstitution date of 1939, the reverse six oclock arm
