Brazil, Kingdom. An Order of the Rose, Officer Breast Star, c.1880 Hold Issued 1874-1876(Imperial Ordem da Rosa). Instituted October 17, 1829 by Dom Pedro I. In silver gilt, a six armed white enamelled cross with ball finials, affixed to a solid multi rayed gilded plate with three pink enamelled roses on green enamelled laurels in each quadrant creating a wreath, the obverse medallion in Gold presents the hand chiselled medallion of Pedro I, surrounded by a blue enamelled ring with the inscription AMOR E FIDELIDADE (Love and Fidelity),
