Germany, Imperial. A First War Imperial German Navy Officer’s Belt Buckle Newly Listed South-Eastern District from 1898-1900(Koppelschloss). A buckle in fire gilt bronze, illustrating a large "W" (Wilhelm cypher) fronting an anchor, surmounted by the Imperial crown and surrounded by an open ended wreath of laurel leaves, on the right end, unmarked, measuring 70. 75 mm x 60. 23 mm, presents light gilt wear and contact marks, and in very fine condition.
