Clifton No.4 & No.5 Replacement Plane Blade system Product Code: HS30A thick and rigid Sheffield made Clifton plane blade to fit Clifton No. 4 and 5 bench planes. This Clifton 4 5 Plane Blade is constructed from specially cryogenically treated 01 steel which has been hardened and tempered to 60 62 Rockwell C and finally precision ground. The cryogenic process creates an edge which stays sharper for longer than most plane blades. Each blade is individually checked for hardness. The blade has been embossed with the
