Pair of Vintage Mid-Century Japanese Fans antique silver box graphite-colored mark to the surfaceWhile the season for fanning my be over, Id hang these vintage Japanese fans on the wall immediately to enjoy them as the gorgeous objects that they are all winter longand to be reminded that summer will come again! These sorts of rigid paddle shaped fans are called Uchiwa in Japanese; these are made of paper and bamboo, and I presume date from the 1950s or so. With their elegant graphics and terrific color palettes, they are really inspiring me add
