C. 1930s-40s Spatter Painted Jug on Board hand-crank carousel There is really no seamI find something kind of magical about the effect of spatter painting this I believe an art school exercise, c. 1940s, made using a stencil mask (as with a theorem painting). With ink outlining and lines for shading added along one side and interior side of the handle. Simple but quite satisfying, and makes this jug feel quite iconic. 14 1 2" x 11 5 8". Ink on board. What looks like a water stain to the bottom left corner of board, as documented but
