This is one that I think would be especially wonderful to live with

and a clean split to one slide lid (which I have archivilly taped from the underside rather than permanently repair) and one hairline split to one side of one box

I am not entirely sure whether it it was once part of a larger construction, like the (large) cherry on top of a folk art church, but whatever the case it's a perfect thing as it is now.
