I know from the seller that this one was found in the attic of a Boston estate

or for a friend without children

this one sculpted from a stoneware slab

but I think these just add to its ambiance

Set of C. 1930s Quilt Block Patterns in Original Envelopes wooden planes I know from the sellerFound at a flea market in Adamstown, PA, which seemed just the right place to find them, this is a set of 7 printed quilt square patterns in their original envelopes, plus an eighth envelope that is empty, c. 1930s I believe. In most are thin pieces of cut paper templates for each piece of the pattern. I think they're great looking things, with the color printed in all cases but one, where it was watercolored by hand. Each envelope measures 6 1 2" x 3
