The grip is heavily checkered and the iron lock is stamped H over 1852 with the serial number 625 across the tail

showing a 43 date

This is a very nice WWII German Wehrmacht Luftwaffe EM NCO's Aluminum Belt Buckle (Koppelschlo). It is embossed with the wartime Luftwaffe straight tail eagle, surrounded by a laurel wreath. Nice aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background. The buckle is in very good condition, with the pebbling in good condition, and much of the detail in the eagle present. The buckle is clearly marked on the back
