This one I especially love for its combination of three things in one

though I'm not completely certain

Rocky shore and sea and sailboats behind them

with the lovely star made of inlaid mother of pearl bits at center still firmly in place

Old Carved Figure with Tall Cap and Wonderful Profile wispy This one I especially loveA wonderful and very expressive carved figure I think, who I take for a man of the woods in many senses! Theres quite a primitive elegance to him I think, and a bit of surface splitting that makes it appear even as if hes got a cloak drawn around him which to me makes also makes him feel a bit French! (From one angle, with face in profile, he actually reminds me a bit of Punch from Punch and Judy, and also a bit of Napolean!) Fantastic dry wood
