This is a genuine Japanese late World War II 50mm Mortar, Type 89 grenade with a Type 88 instantaneous fuze. Features original paint with a yellow band on body and a red band at the top. The Mortar round is inert and can never be used as a weapon or for its original intended purpose, therefore complies with BATF guidleines governing ordnance. It still still has the original safety pin, and is stamped with several
