Colorful Old Wooden Acrobat Squeeze Toy on Stand miniature the Vegetarian Epicure (pub 1972)I find it impossible to resist these old acrobat squeeze toys when the acrobats are as good as this guy. How to resist this delightfully goofy, hand painted pink face, coupled with the fantastic turquoise and yellow of his outfit? I'd think he dates to the early 20th century, and extra nice that there is a base to squeeze handle, making for easy tabletop display. It takes a couple of squeezes to get him going, but once one does he's very acrobatic!
