Upon revealing the second panel the various "billoted" units were identified

mounted onto a stylized and decorative gilded brass back strap and ‘p’ shaped guard

allowing his fellow paratroopers to gather their equipment and capture the regiments first objective

but the three number dates and the partial "Double Headed Eagle" Crest tells us this is from the Austrian Empire

This is a relatively rare example of a Soviet Cold War era Naval flag, as flown by the ships and vessels who housed the Flotilla Squadron commander and is dated 1981. This flag was used from April 21, 1964 to July 21, 1992. The flag measures 39 x 25 and appears to have never been used and is in near mint condition.
