This is an example of a Post WWI Turkish modification to a WWI German produced S98 05 Sawback bayonet, originally intended for Pionier (Engineer) troops. This is just one of the thousands of surplus German Bayonets which were sold to Turkey following the Treaty of Versailles which greatly diminished Germanys military arsenal. The bayonet features a 9 blade which is 1 wide, with the original German markings still
