This is a very nice German WWII Cased Presentation "Table Medal", a large award usually displayed on a shelf or table, as the name implies. Based on the inscription, it was awarded to the winner of the NSFK 1944 Indoor Flight Model Competition. The medal itself measures about 81mm in diameter, and is 6mm thick, made of die struck zinc alloy. It looks to originally have been silver washed, but that has since faded. It
