I do know it is not very often I come across mourning pendants/lockets

especially the dense crosshatching on the handle

Santa at the Ends of the Earth, Atmospheric Old Snapshot Photo chick on the other handI like this one for its strangeness, and of course 'tis the season. And though a bit hard to tell, I think our Santa here may be a woman. Standing on snow, looking as if out in the middle of nowhere, on the mission of delivering some sort of present, tucked under one arm. And with (horseless or deer less!) carriage parked in the background. Feels a bit existential, really. 4 1 4" x 2 3 8". Good condition. First quarter 20th c. I believe.
