Jzef Dwernicki (1779 1857). He commanded the 3rd Regiment of Mounted Rifles in the Polish Army during the November Uprising of 1830 31 that was fought between Poland and the Russian Empire. He was also a veteran of the Polish Austrian War and the Napoleonic Wars, where he led the 15th Uhlan Cavalry Regiment during the French invasion of Russia of 1812.
