No indication of its age on the rim or on the nose in spite of the critics. Decanted to facilitate opening. Found no solids after pouring out a few glasses. Really nice rich red fruit flavors and spice. Needs to open a good bit more to fully assess the complexity. After two small glasses the complexity showed up.
