Mid to late 1950s, as rockabilly exploded out of Memphis and swept across America, a remarkable yet largely overlooked chapter of the story was unfolding in West Portsmouth, Ohio. In 1958, Glenn McKinney founded Nau Voo Records, driven by a passion for the new, hard edged sound of rock 'n' roll. Within just two years, McKinney produced only ten singles on his Nau Voo and Mack labels but those scarce releases have since become prized
