1950 Print Spain Armada English Channel Battle Fight Anglo Spanish War XEFA9 ARCH3 TIN4A11B30C99This is an original 1950 black and white halftone print of a painting depicting the Spanish Armada fighting the British in the English Channel in 1588. The Spanish intended to overthrow Elizabeth I of England in order to stop English involvement in the Spanish Netherlands and English privateering in the Atlantic and Pacific oceans. The Spanish were not successful. CONDITION This 61+ year old Item is rated Near Mint Very Fine. Light aging throughout.
