Benson Bird Lone Yellow Legs Wildlife XAC6 Spanish American War Ingersoll & BrothersThis is an original 1931 tipped in halftone print of an etching of a dry point titled "Lone Yellow Legs." A native of Salem, Massachusetts, Frank W. Benson studied art at Boston's Museum School, where he served as editor for the school's publication. In 1883, Benson studied at the Academie Julian in Paris. Upon, his return to the states, Benson opened his own art studio on Chestnut Street in Salem, where he began painting portraits of friends and
