Ancient Afghan Seal Pendant, Sparrow porcelain jasper 38" strandThis is an ancient Scythian Seal depicting a small bird. From the Scythian Tribe (Sasanian Empire) of ancient Persia, 19th Century BC, this seal was found in Afghanistan. Worn as a pendant, this iron ore seal has a 2mm hole, and a lovely standing small bird (sparrow?). 12mm diameter x 10mm thick. One in my collection of 30 seals, many stones, including carnelian, agate, iron ore, and jasper. All unique and highly collectible! The gold imprinted relief
