1939 Tipped-In Print Madonna Chancellor Nicholas Rolin Jan Van Eyck Virgin XAN3 ADLS2 ELC1A4B23C32This is an original 1939 tipped in color print of Jan Van Eyck's Madonna of Chancellor Rolin, originally commissioned by the Chancellor for his parish church in Autun. His likeness is on the left, kneeling in adoration of the nonplussed Madonna and naked Christ Child, who is signing with his right hand and holding a cross with his right. This masterpiece has complex light sources and incredibly fine details, down to the metal crown and mantle
