Rockford, IL Early 20th century "Favorite" barrel style butter churn. Manufactured by Dobson in Illinois, this hand cranked churn features a staved wooden barrel with original yellow and green painted bands mounted to a matching painted wood stand. The cast iron crank mechanism and red lidded top retain an appealing aged patina. Designed to rotate the barrel on its axis for efficient cream agitation, this churn
